Dr Logbook scheduled for release across Greek cardiology departments

The second major version of Dr Logbook will begin rollout on 15 June 2026, starting with Athens hospitals, expanding to Thessaloniki, and reaching full availability in Greek cardiology departments by the end of September 2026.

Atriabyte today announced the release schedule for Dr Logbook V2, the second major version of the company's activity-logging platform for medical residents and consultants. The rollout will be phased across the Greek hospital network, with cardiology departments as the launch specialty.

Release schedule

  • 15 June 2026 — Initial deployment to participating teaching hospitals in Athens.
  • Throughout July and August 2026 — Phased expansion to teaching hospitals in Thessaloniki.
  • End of September 2026 — Full availability across cardiology departments in Greece.

Each phase will be accompanied by coordinated onboarding for the training-programme directors and trainee cohorts at the deploying institutions. Atriabyte's clinical and engineering teams will work directly with each department through the transition.

What Dr Logbook V2 brings

V2 builds on the existing platform with a redesigned mobile experience, faster procedure entry, expanded supervisor sign-off workflows, and improved integration with departmental training programmes. Specialty coverage beyond cardiology will follow in the second wave, with the schedule announced separately.

Availability outside the launch specialty

During the launch period, Dr Logbook V2 will be made available to non-cardiology trainees and consultants on a per-institution basis. Programme directors interested in early access for their department are invited to contact Atriabyte directly to discuss timing.
